Present Exchange
Present Exchange is a fun game for all members to show their gift-giving side! We are going to be giving gifts to each other!
If you've ever had a get-together where you put everyone's name in a hat, and each person picked someone (that wasn't themselves), and they had to give a gift to them, it's basically that.

How it Works
The first week is basically putting people's names in the hat. If you want to join, sign up as soon as possible, because it's only a week!
The day after is picking them out. We will be using a randomizer to figure out who is giving gifts to whom. We will then email everyone with their giftees, or just have it in an update. Everyone will know who you are giving a gift to, but not what you are going to give them.
All of the days after, until the last day of the month, is your Gift Finding time. You aren't giving them gift exchange cards, but cards of their collection/future-collections/wishlists. It has to be one that they don't have. Rules on that are after the explaination.
On the last day of the month, or the first day of the next month, depending on how quickly gifts are submitted, we will send each person their new card, and start over again for the next month.

Rules
1. Only join if you're serious. You won't get your card if you don't send one that is important to your giftee, so you'd only be making it complicated for us.
2. If you join in, and later no longer wish to play, let us know, so we can take you out. Your gift-giver will then give your giftee a gift, and we have to email them to let them know.
3. Cards MUST be of the giftee's Collection, Future Collection, or anything similar. It's not heartfelt if you give them a card that you know they'll just put in their Trade section, just so you can get a card you want. You will not recieve your card because it wouldn't be very much effort (especially with Trade-Ins.)
4. You must NOT move the card to the Pending section. The card is to be a surprise to the giftee, and if all they have to do is go to your Pending Trades section to guess their card, it's not that much fun. When you send us the card, just take it off your site, so they'd have to pretty much memorize what you had to know what they're getting (and that's assuming you don't use trade-ins.)
5. It'd be best not to put it in your logs until after you recieved the gift. Once you recieve your gift, you can put up a log similar to "Present Exchange: gave [yourgiftee] [giftcard] and recieved [newcard] from [yourgiftgiver]
6. You may have to resort to giving them a card from your Upcoming collections, or your "Other" Collections (being any decks that you are currently collecting that is not the one listed by your name on the Members List page), but you do not have to give anything from your 'official' collection. Exceptions will be made if you have completed the collection and are awaiting mastery, or if you only have one or two cards left to complete it.
Trade-Ins: Trade-ins will basically be where you trade us a card for one that they like and don't have. I know how it can get: if you could find the card you wanted, you'd have mastered everything by now (or, at least nearly everything). This is to give the giftee what they want, and for the gift-giver to make an effort to help someone else.
You may have a trade-in when: a. Your giftee quits AFTER you've sent in your gift card. When you recieve your new giftee, you may have to trade your card in for something they like. If you don't have anything, we will keep the card you currently have as the gift, and have you down for another card, of which we will tell you.
b. You don't have a good card for them. If you follow rule 6, but just don't have anything to give, you can still give them a good gift. Within the last three-four days before the gift-giving portion, if you don't have a good gift to give, send in the trade-in. First, I'll check your site to see if I can find something for them, and if I can't I will trade your card for something suitable for them. I will only do it if you send in the best you can. For example, if you have something from their collecting set, but it's a card they already have, I will switch it with a card from the same deck, but it'll be one they don't have. If you don't have a card from any of their card decks, see what card their missing, and send in a card with the same number, and I'll take it for the needed card.
