What is an online TCG?
A TCG is a Trading Card Game. Here, the game is played on the internet, using .jpg or .gif format images as the cards. Online TCGs can be very interactive, offering anything from games to contests. Even freebies to help your collection grow!
Sweet Nothing is a relationship themed TCG. We create male, female and puzzle decks, to form romance inspired decks from various animes and video games, for your enjoyment.
We use a specialized tier system, where you choose your preferred gender and move up the ranks. Each rank consists of different stages of romance. From being single, to dating, moving on to being in a relationship, then to being engaged and finally to getting married.
Once you reach the final level of the TCG you open up a few features of the game, which are explained in our FAQ.

Displaying your collection
Displaying your cards is easy. All you need is a website to do it. It's easy enough to get some free hosting. You can go to a site like Xanga, Tripod or Geocities and sign up for a free account.
If you use a blog program, live journal or myspace to display cards, they must be easily accessible! (IE: Not a private entry, or a private profile, etc) If I can't see it or find it, chances are you will receive a warning. If it still isn't acessible you will be removed from the member list.
Collections require a collection/trade log to show when you aquire cards. You can see an example of a collection site here. Details are important, such as dates game names, etc.

Leveling Up
Level ups occur when you gain a certain number of cards. In this system, level ups occur every 150 cards. Now, while that may seem like a lot, there are tons of ways to earn cards during the week, to more than help a person level up quickly.
One thing to remember about this rank system, as displayed below, is that it works on gender. If you are female, you will go by the female rank names and vice versa, if you're male. Just because you choose female, it does not mean you can only collect female decks (vice versa, for males, again).
Note: If a card is worth 2, then count it as 2 to your total. Your levels are determined by your worth, not the total single cards.
When you level up you earn extra cards. Each level will get you 2 choice cards and 2 random cards.
After you reach the Juliet level, you gain a special level at every 200 cards. Keep sending in forms to earn prizes. ^^

Special Levels

Special prizes are rewarded to those who level up beyond the Juliet/Romeo levels. Every 120 cards after you reach Romeo/Juliet you gain a stamp to your SL card! Plus some very special rewards.
Check out this page for more information!

Mastering
This occurs when you collect all the cards, to complete a deck. When this happens, you will be awarded a master badge.
Some master badges are unique to the first person who masters a deck, with a choice image and their names attached. After the first badge is given out, they will be generic to the badge that is represented on the deck pages.
Mastering a deck will earn you 2 random normal cards and 2 choice normal cards or 1 choice special card.

A Special Kind of Mastering
This occurs when you complete a romance series. A romance series is a group of decks that combine to make it's own special collection. They will mainly consist of couples (male and female decks), plus a special romance deck, and/or puzzle deck. For an example go here.
Each romance series will generally be 3-4 decks and will be labelled as such with this particular identifier:
Again, when you complete this kind of series, you will be rewarded with a special master badge (at which time you can disgard, or archive previous master badges). You will also be rewarded with 3 normal cards of your choice (1 special and 1 normal or 1 gift deck card) and 3 random normal cards.

Special cards include decks under the categories: Romance Decks and Gift Decks (learn more about gift decks below).

Gifts
This is a prize token system. The token system is a rare occurance on Sweet Nothing. So if you see a token available, grab it up fast, while it's still available! ^^
Gifts have the value as stated on the Gift Exchanger page and are used to purchase cards from Gift Decks.
The value of the gifts is equivalent to random and choice cards or a choice card from a gift deck (for more info, read below)!, so make sure you collect and log these as you get them!

Other Ways to Gain Cards:
Trading:
This is an interactive/online trading game. That means, you can email anyone on the list and ask to trade cards with them.
If a person says "no" to a trade, leave them be. Any further pursuit is unnacceptable. Likewise, if a person emails you, be courteous to respond as soon as possible with a "yes" or "no" answer.
Leave trades up for a minimum of three days before you give up. ^^
Donating:
Donate badge sets, deck images, link buttons, pixels, etc.
Yes, donating graphics to make Nafretiri's job easy will get you cards! Trust me, she's appreciates every bit of help she can find. ^^
Games:
There's a list of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and ongoing games to keep you satisfied on card collecting for a long time! The more cards you have, the bigger pot you have to trade with others! Don't forget that ^^
Freebies:
Yes, this bizarre phenomenon does happen! Whenever I have a huge update with lots of decks, or heck! when I can't give you more decks, I will offer freebies in my updates. Keep your eyes peeled.
When a freebie is posted in a news post, any member is allowed to take these. Even members which have just joined the TCG. As soon as a new post is made, a freebie becomes void, even if it hasn't beenstiked. So please don't add those to your pages after they aren't available anymore.
Referrals
Yes, if you refer your friends to Sweet Nothing, this can earn you extra cards as well. For every member that mentions your name, you will receive a choice card, as well as a random card.
Error Reports
Yep, I'm not perfect, even I make mistakes. XD That beng said... I will not give out freebies for every teeny error being reported. The number of typo reports, and teensy info correction would become crazy, and the fun would be ruined with this bonus.
Staff
At some point, Naffie may call upon you to lend her a hand with different parts of the game. It may be forum moderator, game updates, deck creator, form response or any number of things. If you think you have the talent and time to step forward and help out, by all means answer the call.
Payment for services varies according to the amount of work involved in the position.
